They’re super cute and look more like a little ear accessory than a wellness patch. The crystals are delicate and pretty, so I actually enjoyed wearing them throughout the day. They’re easy to apply and stayed in place well for me. I also like that the set comes with multiple patches, so you can try different placements. Such a fun K-beauty product, especially if you’re into acupressure and beauty routines!
I’m here to provide my honest experience and unbiased -picky- opinion. I ordered this because a few years back an acupuncturist put some seeds on my ear which I thought made a difference so I wanted to see if I could do it for myself. These are just as indicated. You receive 10 patches; adhesive with a plain metal ball piece on the top (non-adhesive side) and three sharp spike pieces on the adhesive side. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with much information on where to apply these so a quick internet search provided some direction. For the first use I chose just to use one on one ear and see how it went. You can use a total of five per ear, I presume that’s why it is sold in a package of ten. If you did that this would only be one use. I put it in the base of my ear and left it there for three full days. It adhered well and stayed put, even through a shower and hair wash. When I removed it while it was easy to remove, it also wasn’t ready to fall off. It did not irritate my skin at all. It was comfortable to wear and I felt for it every now and then to make sure it was still there.Did it work? That’s the most important question – which I cannot answer. I don’t know if it provided some relief, or just the placebo effect because I thought it should. An interesting experiment. For $15 for 10, $1.50 per seed, these are a poor value for the money. This is a quality product, not sure I would recommend unless you just want the experience to give it a try. Hope this info was helpful!
II have used effective RETURNITY products before, and was excited to try these Ear Therapy Acupressure Patches. I have tried one for stress, and forgot about it for some time, so I, guess, I wasn't stressed about it. I am not 100 % sure what the other applications do, as they are very shortly described as control and suppression, breast line and face line. I tried the patches at the indicated points, but have not seen noticeable results. It would be nice to have a better explanation on what exactly is achieved in each point, and how long it takes to see the results. The indications on where to put the patches in the instructions are ok, but I really like how the picture on the box shows exactly where to put the patches. I used that picture for my applications. The patches look cute, and did not cause me irritation. While they are in my earlobe, I do not feel them. There is a little soreness after I take them out, but not for long. Overall, I think Returnity acupressure patches have some potential, but there should be better instructions and explanations the usage and time frame for effectiveness.
These are cute and easy to use. I got the silver ones, and they look nice on the ear without being too noticeable. They stick well and stay put, even if you wear them for a long stretch. The adhesive is gentle, so taking them off doesn’t hurt.As for the effect, they’re comfortable, and I like wearing them for jaw tension. They’re simple to apply.....clean the spot, stick it on, and forget about it. I didn’t get dramatic results, but they’re fun to try and feel like a little wellness accessory you can wear during the day.Nice if you want something lightweight and easy for daily ear acupressure without needing piercings.
I like the aesthetic of these patches: they’re cute and stylish, but after wearing them for a week, I haven’t really noticed any change in facial lines or puffiness. They stay on well and are comfortable enough, so maybe with more time I’ll see a difference. For now, I’m giving them 3 stars.
I ordered the RETURNITY Ear Therapy Acupressure Patches in Crystal because I wanted to try ear seed therapy. I was pleasantly surprised to learn ATEEZ's Choi San collaborated with the brand last year and was the muse for this product. They look like cute little earring stickers. It's a health and fashion item at the same time. Each patch has three dots on the back that provides the actual pressure points. I've compared pressing my ear with and without the patch on, and there's a huge difference.I've been using them while recovering from a cold, and pressing on them throughout the day helps wake me up when I'm feeling run down and tired. I go back to them a few times a day for that little alertness boost. The adhesive holds up well. It stays on overnight without falling off. You can wear this up to two days.At $15.00 for 10 patches ($1.50 each), that's reasonable for what amounts to a several-week supply if you're using one patch per ear point at a time. It's worth it for me.Update: it really works for face puffiness. I put it on one ear and not the other and just was pressing that patch randomly the whole day. I woke up too early in the morning having to go to the bathroom and happened to look in the mirror and my face was uneven. I was confused. Then I remembered the patch. Still in disbelief. Going back to bed now.
I can't tell yet if these work but they look really cute and there is a chart that comes with them to show you how to try them.I'll have to give more feedback after wearing them on a few occasions. They look like little earrings!Chart shows correspondence to acupressure points.Novel idea.More time needed for analysis.
Super cute and stylish, and hopefully with use, they will provide the benefits of acupressure. I sure thinks it't worth a try. I went with the pearl, and think they are just darling. I have used one on each ear they stay in place, even through my showering. You have to make sure to press the clear part smoothly until you don't notice it, kind of like the same material of those pimple patches. I could feel the pressure from the patches but not an unbearably type of pressure. More when I slept with it. My face does not seem puffy since using, but not a significant photograph difference to share. Great quality materials and fairly reason value for the money.
I have used something like this before, a few years ago. I can’t really say they work but I can’t say they don’t either. The instructions weren’t too easy to follow as they were half in Chinese. However, I figured it out, having used them before. I have had one stay on for a few days through washing my hair. Once on the skin, they stay quite well. I think it looks nice on my ear as decoration, if nothing else. My husband agreed. They are a little pricey, at the time of this review.
This was an interesting product to try because I am very interested in the effects of acupressure and acupuncture. I do believe that Chinese acupuncture (small needles) work to relieve stress and help with flexibility, etc. However I had never tried Acupressure, which is more common in South Korea, and like Korean skincare products, is having a moment right now.The bottom line is that I felt no different after using these ... I did not feel less stressed/more relaxed and my face did not look slimmer. I am not female, so I did not use the zone which claimed a fuller bust. I have done a lot of research on this sort of thing and it usually falls in the category of pseudoscience with mostly anecdotal claims. Each of the little stickers has a metal sphere on it, which looks surprisingly like a real piercing ... however it is actually a small metal ball, with 3 smaller metal balls on the backside. They claim that the smaller metal balls are silver. The stickers are pretty great in that they stay on very well.I forgot I even had them on and my wife had to remind me that they were there so I could take them off before bed. That does make me wonder ... as there is no real pressure involved. I was wondering if there would be magnets or something to apply a little pressure. Basically the idea is that the contact of the silver balls on the zone is all that happens.I found that after sticking these on and taking them off twice, the adhesion of the sticker started to get less. I would plan on using them 2 or 3 times before the sticker falls off.Overall, I can't knock the product too much because of the slight chance it might work on others. However, after a week of using these everyday for 6 - 8 hours, I didn't feel any of the differences the marketing claimed. I will review them instead based on their quality ... and the adhesion of the stickers and the product itself are very well made. I hope my pictures and honest review are helpful to you.
I wasn’t sure what to expect with this acupressure patches, and they’ve left me neither impressed nor overly disappointed. They’re basically sticky gems that have 3 little hard points on the back—not hard enough to break through skin but hard enough to feel some pressure. There are instructions on placement, but they aren’t super clear (and are half in Chinese). The instructions do say to leave them on for 4-48 hours. I’ve been putting them on overnight and haven’t noticed any benefits—just sore ears in the mornings. That said, they look fine on so I wouldn’t mind wearing them during the day, and there certainly could be longer term benefits if I were willing to routinely purchase these one-time-use patches that cost $1.50/stud at time of review, but I am not! So overall they’re interesting and seem to be made fine but I’m not sold on them.
I have never tried Ear Therapy Acupressure patches, (also known as Ear Seeds). This non-invasive practice is considered an extension or tool of modern traditional Chinese medicine, (TCM). Similar to acupuncture, this non-invasive method seeks to stimulate specific acupressure points on the ear to treat a number of ailments, such as anxiety, pain, or insomnia, by promoting/supporting the flow of Qi (energy) in the body. The RETURNITY Ear Therapy patches are fashioned from Titanium and skin safe adhesive. In order to make them more aesthetically pleasing, they are available in three styles, (Crystal, Silver and Pearl). These come 10 to a packet and are meant to be applied to the specific positions of the ear that correlate to the specific treatment that is desired. As an aside, the listing mentions that this is a preferred "wellness accessory among K-pop celebrities for daily facial depuffing and jawline care". An illustrated chart shows the (4) areas of the ear that the seeds can be placed and the intended/anticipated treatment. The instructions further state that they can be worn for 4-48 hours. As the seeds are fairly small, they are anchored onto a transparent adhesive film that is ~3/8" wide for better handling and attachment. The seeds are smooth on the top side and have three pressure points on the underside, (the side that attaches to the ear).As it is non-invasive, I decided to try them.Tried in the position that promotes appetite balance and craving control, I found it to produce a slight warm sensation. It also held up in the shower and during sleep with no issues. I find these to be stylish as well.
Hard to get them to the auricular points I want due to small stiff ears. I have used three seeds several times each after letting them rest for a day or so back on their plastic sheet; leaving them on for 24 hours or more in the ear each time. So, they do stick well on the outside and the inside of the ear. It would be handy if there was some kind of applicator for those of us with larger fingers and smaller ears. They fit on most points that I want, but are a bit large for a couple that I wanted to try per my acupuncture ear chart. I think the quality is good on these and will continue to use them for some points. Sometimes I think they are helping and sometimes I'm not sure. Would like to have a tiny adhesive bottle so as they lose their stickiness they could still be renewed as I hate to just throw them away when they finally start dropping out.
I’ve been trying these ear acupressure patches as part of my daily self care routine, and I really like how discreet and easy they are to use. 👂🥰 The crystal design is especially pretty and looks more like a tiny accessory than something strictly functional. Since there is no piercing involved, applying them is simple and does not require any special equipment. The triple point design is what makes these different from basic ear stickers. ✨ The patches are positioned on specific areas of the ear for acupressure, and I’ve mainly been using them when my jaw feels tense or when I want to incorporate something extra into my evening routine. I like being able to put them on and then continue with normal activities without having to sit around doing anything complicated.Application is very straightforward. 😊 I clean and dry the area of my ear first, then carefully place the patch where it is intended to go. The adhesive holds it in place nicely during normal daily activities, although I would still be careful when touching or rubbing the area so it does not get accidentally pulled off.The titanium pieces are another nice detail. 💎✨ They are small, lightweight, and do not require any piercing. I also appreciate that the adhesive is designed with skin comfort in mind, although everyone’s skin is different, so I would recommend removing them if irritation develops. The 10 patch set is convenient for keeping some on hand at home or taking a few along when traveling. 🧳👂 I like that they can be worn for an extended period according to the directions, so I do not have to constantly reapply them throughout the day.I would consider these more of a wellness and self care accessory than something I would expect to produce dramatic changes overnight. 🌸😊 The acupressure concept is interesting, and I enjoy incorporating them into my routine, but individual results can vary. I also would not rely on claims about facial contouring or depuffing as a guaranteed result.Overall, these are a fun and attractive way to incorporate ear acupressure into a daily routine. 💎👂✨ They are easy to apply, comfortable to wear, portable, and the crystal design is really cute. I especially like that they feel more like a little beauty accessory than a complicated wellness product. 🥰💕
I had a mixed experience with these ear acupressure patches. I got the pearl design, and they are actually very cute when worn. They almost look like an ear piercing rather than a medical device, which I definitely prefer. They stick extremely well. I cleaned my ear with an alcohol swab as directed and wore one for about 36 hours, as the instructions say they can be left on for 4 to 48 hours. It was still firmly attached when I removed it before bed, although it came off without being particularly painful. The little pearl has a small textured acupressure piece on the back with several tiny pyramid-shaped points. I occasionally found it a little uncomfortable depending on how my ear was positioned, but most of the time I forgot it was there. I didn't find wearing it particularly bothersome overall. I had no problem sleeping with one in place.Unfortunately, I didn't notice any effect from using it in the recommended position for appetite and cravings. I can't say whether I placed it incorrectly or whether these simply don't work for me, but I didn't experience any noticeable change. At $15 for 10 patches, I'm also not convinced they're a particularly good value. These are cute, discreet, and very adhesive, and the wearing experience was reasonably comfortable. I'm just pretty dubious about the effectiveness and value based on my experience.
These stick on dots are designed to apply to acupressure points on your ears. They are easy to apply and stick very well. Mine stayed attached for a whole day and night. I did remove them before showering. They are very durable. The dots are comfortable to wear and once applied I forgot that I was wearing them. As someone who likes earrings, I also liked the look of the gem stickers. I do feel that these were effective and that overall these are a good value.
I’m a big fan of acupuncture and acupressure is within the same family. I had to try these because seed therapy looks weird and this provided a more and attractive solution. These looks like diamond studs and easily adhere to the contours of the ear. They stay put until you take them off. They’re really comfortable, to the point that you forget they’re on. You’re meant to massage them a few times daily to stimulate those particular pressure points. Much like acupuncture, I think some people respond better to acupressure than others. For me, the fact that these are cute looking, durable and risk-free makes me want to experiment with these. Honestly, I don’t yet know if this provides stress relief, which is the only thing I’ve used it for thus far. It’s hard for me to judge the efficacy as I wonder if I just snapped out of something or the ear patches actually did something. But at 15 bucks for what are essentially reusable ear patches/cute accessories, it’s a good enough value to keep trying. They should have included more instructions with these to high - I think people need to know how to use seed therapy for it to have a chance of being effective.
